Home violence in family and its impact on child

This work deals with domestic violence, with a focus on children who grow up in such an environment and who witness the violence as its indirect victims. Attention will be paid to the impacts of this situation on their mental and physical health, family relationships and possible problems in their future life. Although the issue of children who witness violence at home is in the Czech environment taken into account, yet there is not an extensive paper on this particular topic. This work provides insight into the possible negative consequences of indirect victimization of children who have been identified in studies conducted abroad, and also proposes a methodological approach for possible further research in this area. Influence of birth order on a person with a focus on middle children

Family represents one of the key environmental factors significantly influencing individuals. Previous studies have shown that the way a person is influenced within this environment i also determined by the role they occupy within the family. One of the related factors can be, among others, the birth order. It may play a role in shaping personality trats among siblings and influencing their life attitudes. For a better understanding of the effects of birth order, this work first addresses the differences between siblings from an evolutionary and ecological perspective, identifies the main factors influencing the birth order effect, and describes the tge characteristics of each specific birth order type. The work provides insights into the issue of birth order's influence, with particular focus on middle-born children, in relation to their personality, sexual behavior, and psychological specificities of middleborns. Research has shown that birth order has a significant effect on middle-born children, particularly in the areas of prosocial behavior, sexual strategy, and manifestations of self- harming or suicidal behavior. Burnout syndrome among teachers in preschool education

This bachelor's thesis deals with the burnout syndrom of teachers in kindergarten. The thesis includes theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part observes basic terms and definitions of the work. It defines the conditions that leads to the burnout syndrome and how can we work with it, what are the consequences and what can we do to prevent the syndrome from happening. The practical part discovers how the syndrome affected the life of the teachers and how often did they came across that issue. It follows particular cases of the burnout syndome and detects why the syndome had happend and how did the interviewee deal with it. The research was assigned as a questionare to teachers in kindergarten.
Aspects of new challenging behaviour in pupils in a lower secondary education in a primary school in Říčany in time of pandemic of covid-19

The diploma thesis deals with aspects of new challenging behaviour in pupils in a lower secondary education in a primary school in Říčany in time of pandemic of covid-19. The first part of the work includes basic theoretical points and concepts. The most common forms of challenging behavior that can be identified in primary schools are defined here. Furthermore, the most common factors influencing the rise of challenging behavior are listed here. The theoretical part also deals with the issue of psychological stress and the effect of distance learning on students during the covid-19 pandemic. This part of the work is also devoted to the importance of supporting wellbeing in the school environment and explains why it is important to deal with it. The practical part contains the objectives of the research. A mixed research method is chosen to achieve the main research objective. From the main research objective, sub-objectives are set out, from which research questions arise. Negative impacts of media fame

The main topic of the work is how Czech media inform about psychological problems of celebrities such as depression, manic depressive psychosis, addictive behavior, or suicide, and tries to answer the question of how much the media fame can affect these issues. The theoretical part summarizes concepts from media studies for better understanding media behaviors, for example media news selections process, concept of news values, the role of media in today's society and the difference between tabloid and serious media. From the psychological point of view, work summarizes the preconditions of psychological problems and their manifestations. It also provides brief pieces of information from official sources about lives and careers of selected celebrities. The second part of thesis is about analyzing the data, it means articles that informed about selected celebrities in connection with their psychological problems. The practical part is about finding there some common features and tendencies in media informing and also about showing differences between the ways of how tabloid and serious media present news. Psychological counseling for university students

This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of psychological counseling for university students. The aim of this thesis is to examine the state of psychological counseling services at Charles University. The main research areas are quality, awareness and accessibility. Emphasis is placed on how specific students perceive the quality and availability of psychological counseling services at Charles University. The partial goal is to at least superficially map the system of psychological counseling at Charles University. The theoretical part contains the description of the network of psychological counseling centers. This section further describes the age periods in which students are located. The next part contains a list and characteristics of psychological problems with which students go to counseling centers most often. The practical part is based on a questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. The questionnaire was sent out via social networks and was intended for all current and past students of Charles University. It was used to obtain respondents who had experience with psychological counseling at Charles University. An interview was then conducted with them. Mixed forms of elderly care and its impact on informal carers' mental health and social problems

The diploma thesis deals with mixed forms of elderly care in the Czech Republic. The aim is to identify the advantages and potential disadvantages of mixed forms of elderly care in connection with informal carers' mental health and social life. There are 2 groups of informal carers distinguished within the research - those, who get professional care help and those, who care alone or get just a little professional care help. Mixed methods design, which combines quantitative and qualitative research, was used to study the world of informal carers. The quantitative part is based on data from a research Podpora neformálních pečovatelů, which were selected by STEM/MARK agency in 2014. Qualitative research is based on 10 in-depth interviews with informal carers. Both pieces of research are integrated in a phase of data analysis by the explanation method. Informal carers' mental health problems and social problems and its intensity in connection to mixed forms of elderly care are formulated in the results. The thesis also presents factors, which influence mental health problems and social problems. Educational Problems of Children from Divorced Families

The bachelor thesis "Educational Problems of Children from Divorced Families" discusses the negative impact of divorce on children. I've focused mainly on the problem and delinquent behaviors, changing the school's results, the issue of truancy and overall success of children from divorced families. But also brings answers to important questions: Why divorce rate is increasing ? How to minimize these negative effects of divorce on children? This thesis is entirely theoretical, but builds on available foreign research that provide the necessary facts and long-term results for this work.
